        <ArticleTitle>Article 1.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Central Police College shall be under the management of Home Minister. Its aim is to give lessons indispensable to senior police or fire officials, to those who are or are going to be police or fire officials, by teaching them science concerning police and fire-service and its application; and at the same time, to cultivate their character.</Sentence>

      </Article>
      <Article Num="2">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 2.</ArticleTitle>

            <Sentence>The staffs of the Central Police College shall be as follows:</Sentence>

      <Article Num="3">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 3.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence Num="1">The President shall be appointed from among the first class Home Ministry Educational officials.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>He shall administer the affairs of college under control of Home Minister, and supervises the staffs under him. Concerning the appointment and removal of the second class officials, the president shall report it to Home Minister; as to those of third class officials, he shall perform them of his own will.</Sentence>

        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="4">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 4.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence Num="1">Professors are appointed from among the second class Home Ministry Educational Officials. They shall instruct students, and direct them in their study.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="5">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 5.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence Num="1">Assistant professors shall be appointed from among the second or third class Home Ministry Educational Officials. They shall assist professors, and engage in instructing.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="6">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 6.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Police College may have advisers to assist the affairs of the College.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>Advisers shall be selected from among men of knowledge and experience, and shall be commissined by Home Minister.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="7">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 7.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The president may commission someone to a lecturer in case of necessity.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="8">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 8.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Police College shall have the first second and special course, as provided by Home Minister.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="9">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 9.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The regulations concerning the fixed number of students, entrance and leaving. term and course of study, of the Police College shall be provided by Home Minister.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
    </MainProvision>
    <SupplProvision>
      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provisions:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>The present Imperial Ordinance shall come into force on and after the day of promulgation.</Sentence>
        </ParagraphSentence>
      </Paragraph>
      <Paragraph Num="2">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>The Regulations governing the Organization of the Central Higher Police Training School shall be abolished.</Sentence>
        </ParagraphSentence>
      </Paragraph>
      <Paragraph Num="3">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>Home Ministry secretaries or Educational Officials who serve in the Central Higher Police Training School at the time when this Imperial Ordinance is promulgated, are regarded as ordered to serve in the Police College when a written appointment is not given specially.</Sentence>

      </Paragraph>
      <Paragraph Num="4">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>A part of Shinnin-kan (an official personally appointed by the Emperor) and Other Officials class ifination Ordinance shall be amended as follows:</Sentence>

            <Sentence>A clause concerning Home Ministry Educational Officials, in the section of Home Ministry in the annexed table of Shinnin-kan and Other Officials Class ifination Ordinance shall be amended as follows:</Sentence>
