    <LawTitle>Regulations governing the Temporary Establishment of the Administrative Investigation Board.</LawTitle>
    <MainProvision>
      <Article Num="1">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 1.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Administrative Investigation Board shall, under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister, take charge of business regarding the investigation, research and forming plans with regard to the reformation of administrative organization, official personnel system and also of administrative execution.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="2">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 2.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Administrative Investigation Board shall have the following personnel:</Sentence>

              <Sentence>President</Sentence>
            </ListSentence>
          </List>
          <List>
            <ListSentence>
              <Sentence>Director</Sentence>
            </ListSentence>
          </List>
          <List>
            <ListSentence>
              <Sentence>Board Members</Sentence>
            </ListSentence>
          </List>
          <List>
            <ListSentence>
              <Sentence>Secretaries</Sentence>
            </ListSentence>
          </List>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="3">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 3.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The President shall be appointed by Imperial Order.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The President shall preside over the affairs of the Board.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="4">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 4.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The post of Director shall be filled with the Director-General of the Bureau of Legislation.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Director shall assist the President in arranging the affairs of the Board.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="5">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 5.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Board Members shall be appointed by the Prime Minister from among men of learning and experience as well as government or public officials.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Members shall take charge of affairs concerning investigation, research and forming plans under the directions of their superior officials.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="6">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 6.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Secretaries shall be appointed by the Prime Minister from among government officials.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Secretaries shall engage in transacting general affairs under the instructions of their superior officials.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="7">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 7.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Administrative Investigation Board shall have a number of Advisers who shall participate in the important affairs of the Board.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Advisers shall be appointed by the Cabinet through the recommendation of the Prime Minister to the Throne.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="8">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 8.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>Other necessary matters than those prescribed in the present Ordinance concerning the Administrative Investigation Board shall be determined by the Prime Minister.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
    </MainProvision>
    <SupplProvision>
      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provision:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.</Sentence>
