I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the amendment to parts of Law No. 44 of 1945 in connection with the abolition of National Mobilization Law and War-time Emergency Measures Law, under the Imperial Ordinance No. 542 of the twentieth year of Showa (1945) relating to the Orders to be issued in consequence of the acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration and cause the same to be promulgated. Next to "six months from the day of the enforcement of this Law" in Paragraph 2 of the Supplementary Provisions, "(however, one year with respect to Imperial Ordinance No. 235 of 1942 concerning War-time shipping Control and Imperial Ordinance No. 22 of 1945 in connection with Mariners Mobilization.)" shall be inserted. Supplementary Provision: This Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
