Article 1. The following partial amendments shall be made to the Regulations governing the Establishment of Local Administrative Affairs Bureau. The following one paragraph shall be added to "the Superintendent-General of the Police" in No. 2 of the Annexed List "Director of Local Price Affairs Bureau of Price Board."

Article 2. The following Partial amendment shall be made to the Regulations governing the Organization and Functions of Tokyo Metropolitan Government. In Article 1-2, "not more than 494 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 495 (full time)" and "not more than 4045 (full time)" shall read "not more than 4046 (full-time)." In Article 9 "6 Bureaus" shall read "7 Bureaus" "Water-Works Bureau" shall read "Water-Works Bureau." "Sanitary Bureau. " In Article 10 No. 7 and No. 8 shall read as follows: 7. Affairs concerning the Election of Members of Imperial Diet, Metropolitan Assembly, Ward Assemblies, Municipal Assemblies, Town Assemblies, and Village Assemblies. 8. Affairs concerning the Metropolitan Assembly, the Metropolitan Council and other general administrative affairs. 9. Affairs concerning the supervision of Wards, Cities, Towns and Villages and other general administrative affairs relating to Public Bodies. 10. Affairs concerning Results of Administrative Business. 11. Affairs concerning summary of Liaison Business. 12. Affairs concerning what are not under the charge of other Bureaus and Sections. No. 1, No. 4 and No. 8 in Article 2 shall be deleted, and No. 5 shall read No. 1 and the following numbers as far as No. 7 shall be moved up.

Article 16-2 Sanitary Bureau takes charge of the affairs concerning health and sanitary business.

In Article 19 "and Director of Sanitary Bureau shall be added to after "Director of Water-Works Bureau."

Article 3. The following partial amendment shall be made to the Regulations governing the Organization and Functions of Regional Government of Hokkaido. In Article 1 (bis) 2 "not more than 122 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 123 (full-time)" and "not more than 793 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 794 (full-time)."

Article 4. The following partial amendment shall be made to the Regulations governing the Organization and Functions of Local Government Officials. In Article 2 "not more than 4382 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 4387 (full-time)" and "not more than 27020 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 27025 (full-time)."

Article 5. The following partial amendment shall be made to the Ordinance of Special Appointment and Conferment of Third Class Government Officials. In Article 6, "the River Custodians of Regional Government of Hokkaido" shall be deleted.
