In conformity with the Imperial Ordinance No. 542, 20th of Showa, concerning the Orders to be issued in consequence of the acceptance of Potsdam Declaration, I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendment of the Ordinance prohibiting the possession of firearms and other weapons and cause the same to be promulgated. Supplementary Provision: The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
