I hereby give my sanction to the Ordinance concerning the postponement of the date of terminating the drawing of cheque for the payments of the Fishing Boat Reinsurance in order to compensate for the Josses accrued from the war during the fiscal year of 1945-46, and cause the said Ordinance to be promulgated. Countersigned: Prime Minister Yoshida Shigeru Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Wada Hiroo Minister of Finance Ishibashi Tanzan Imperial Ordinance No. 290 The drawing of cheque by a disbursing official in order to defray war time reinsurance payments which the Government is obliged to pay, as fixed by the Fishing Boat Insurance Law in order to compensate for the losses accrued from the war during the fiscal year of 1945-46, will be terminated on June 15th, 1946. The payment of reinsurance referred to in the above paragraph by the Bank of Japan will be terminated on June 30, 1946. If any cheque drawn in accordance with the 1st paragraph mentioned above is not paid within the time fixed in the above paragraph, the amount will not be paid into the surplus under Article 3 of the Special Account Law of the Fishing Boat Reinsurance but will be carried over to the following year. Supplementary Provision: The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
