We hereby give Our sanction to the Ordinance concerning the amendments of the Law of the Nippon Express Company, Ltd. and Others, under the Imperial Ordinance No. 542 of the twentieth year of Showa (1945) concerning the order to be issued in accordance with the acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration and cause the same to be promulgated. Article 1. The Law of the Nippon Express Company, Ltd. shall be amended as follows:

Article 3 shall be canceled.

Article 2. The Teito Rapid-Transit Railway Corporation Act shall be amended as follows:

Article 3 shall be canceled.

Article 3. The Emergency Maritime Control Law shall be amended as follows:

Article 3 shall be canceled.

Article 4. The Law of the East Asia Shipping Company, Ltd. shall be amended as follows:

Article 6 shall be canceled.

Article 5. The Ship Building Enterprise Law shall be amended as follows:

Article 3 shall be canceled.

Article 6. The Pilot Law shall be amended as follows: Item 1, Article 2 shall be canceled; Item 2 shall be made Item 1: and Item 3 shall be made Item 2.

Article 7. The Foreign Line Subsidy Law shall be amended as follows: in Paragraph 1, Article 1, "Japanese Subjects or commercial companies which restrict their partners or shareholders to Japanese Subjects," shall be amended as "those":

Article 3 shall be canceled:

Article 9 shall be canceled; and

Article 12 shall be canceled.

Supplementary Provision: The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
