    <PromulgateStatement>We sanction the Ordinance for the amendment of the Imperial Ordinance No. 58 of the twenty-first Year of Showa (1946) pertaining to the Special Cases of the Temporary Personnel Readjustment Ordinance concerning the Personnel of the Embassies, Legations and other Agencies abroad of the Foreign Ministry and hereby promulgate it.</PromulgateStatement>

        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>We following amendment shall be made to the Imperial Ordinance No. 58 of the twenty-first year of Showa (1946):</Sentence>

            <Sentence>The following Paragraph shall be added to Article I.</Sentence>
          </AmendProvisionSentence>

              <ParagraphNum/>
              <ParagraphSentence>
                <Sentence>When in cases under the preceding paragraph, Assistant Technicians of Embassy or Legation, or Police Inspectors, Assistant Police Inspectors or Policemen, of the Foreign Ministry, are to retire, it may be assumed that the offices of Technicians of Embassy or Legation, or Police Superintendents, Police Inspectors or Assistant Police Inspectors, of the Foreign Ministry, have been Temporarily Created, and they may be respectively appointed, at the time of their retirement, to the said offices: Provided that this does not preclude the application of the Provisions pertaining to qualifications for the appointment of Government Officials</Sentence>

      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provision:</SupplProvisionLabel>

          <Sentence>The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.</Sentence>
