I hereby give My Sanction to the Law concerning the issue of bonds in order to cover the expenditures on the General Account for the fiscal year of 1946-47, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and cause the same to be promulgated. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twenty-eighth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-first year of Showa (December 28, 1946) Countersigned: Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Minister of Finance ISHIBASHI Tanzan Law No.64 Government shall be authorized to issue bonds or to make the borrowings within the amount of 9,489,800,000 yen in order to cover the expenditures on General Account for the fiscal year of 1946-47, beside the amount of authorization under other laws. The interest rate of the bonds issued pursuant to the preceding paragraph shall be 3.5% per annum, and the issue price thereof shall be 98 yen per 100 yen of face value and shall be redeemed within 18 years. Supplementary Provision: The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
