I hereby give My Sanction to the Law concerning the partial amendments to the Co-operative Central Bank for Societies of Agriculture and Forestry Law approved by the Imperial Diet and cause the same to be promulgated.

The following amendments are made to the Cooperative Central Bank for Societies of Agriculture and Forestry Law:
In Article 5, Paragraph 1, the terms "Sericultural Association" and "Co-operated Sericulturists'Association" shall be added before the words "Union of Forestmen's Co-operative Association."
In Article 14-2, Paragraph 1, the words "as well as to the cases of accommodation with such funds requisite for the creation and maintenance of ownerfarmers, the development and improvement of rural lands and for other works designated by the competent Minister" shall be added next to the words "the case of accommodation with a Government loan."
In Article 15, Paragraph 1, item 6, the term "the Bank for war-time" shall be deleted.
Article 15-2.
In case the Co-operative Central bank for Societies of Agriculture and Forestry deems it specially necessary the said Bank may, in pursuance to the provisions of the Ordinance and despite the provisions of the preceding Article, Paragraph 1, accommodate the juridical persons stated in Item 4 or 5 of the same paragraph with the approval of the competent Minister, with the surplus of funds by means of loan which is to be refunded at a fixed time or by yearly instalments within ten years.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
