I hereby give My Sanction to the Law regarding the partial amendments of the Temporary Currency Law, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and order the same to be promulgated. Countersigned: Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Minister of Finance ISHIBASHI Tanzan Law No.5 Part of the Temporary Currency Law shall be amended as follows: In Article 1, "when necessary" shall read "for the time being." In Article 2, "50 sen" shall be added next to "the denominations," and "3 denominations" shall read "4 denominations." In Article 3, "10 sen" shall read "temporary subsidiary coins of 50 sen, up to 10 yen;10 sen." In Article 5 "when necessary" shall read "for the time being." Paragraph 2 of Supplementary Provisions shall be deleted. Supplementary Provision: The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
